I have mine behind my TV. It creates a great background in a dimly lit room. You can change colors based on your mood. Bulb stays cool to the touch no matter how long it is left on.

I replaced every light bulb in my house with these and loved them at first. As time goes by one by one the bulbs are becoming unresponsive to my remotes and getting stuck on the standard light setting and a few have stopped working all together.

Very good bulb. Remote works around my entire room. Adjustable brightness, no buzzing from bulb like other colored bulbs I have used. There could be a bit more colors available, as some other bulbs have more to choose from, but all the ones it comes with are good!
