I appreciate the set and have the option to use different tools instead of getting them separately. Worked great. I used it to seal the ends of my knitting and crocheting blankets when I’m done.

Good value for the money. Not expensive kind good for beginners

I didnt really know what I was doing when I bought this. We had two felting needles from Michaels and we needed to ramp up and get a replacement needle after one I had been using for 2 years broke (because my daughter used it try and lever open a lid - not during felting anything). I just cannot understand all the reviews saying these are quality needles. They are truly crap and break constantly, snapping off a sharp metal end into the piece you are working on. If we cant get it out we have to discard the whole piece - which is pretty disappointing. I also agree with another reviewer that the groove in the wooden piece is the wrong size - we also had to widen it to get the needles to fit. About the only thing going for this kit is it is cheap - and even then Im not sure the frustration was worth it. Maybe the shears and the finger guards were what I paid for as they have been functional. Im still looking for good felting needles if anyone can steer my in the right direction.....

I took a felting class and immediately wanted my own starter kit. This one fit the bill nicely and gave me enough needles to keep me going for quite a while.

This little kit has everything you need to start a project. It keeps all that you need in order. I recommend it.

I still do not know what the single glue stick is for, but I was able to get started right away felting. I have quickly moved to using a cloth bag of rice instead of the foam pad, but that is preference and am glad I had the foam first to know the difference.

I am new to felting. In looking over starter kits, this one stood out. It is priced extremely well for the large supply of tools included. In fact there was one tool that is included (a multiple pronged needle with wooden handle), that I priced at Joann Fabrics for $18 alone (much poorer quality with a cheap plastic handle). Very nice supply of extra needles in various sizes, snipping scissors a awl, pins, leather finger protectors, etc. The packaging is also very nice with a latched plastic case to hold everything. Very pleased with this purchase.

The kit has everything you need in a nice small reusable carrying container. My only complaint is the finger guards are pretty small and I can’t wear them for very long to work so I need to keep stopping.

It has everything you need to start your project. A must for beginners as you do not need to go and purchase other items.
