Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO Add-on Camera (Not Compatible with DXR-8), White

This is a good camera, had an issue with the first order, but they replaced the monitor for not holding the charge- then I ordered a second camera. I have infants in my daycare....works good, good customer service.

I finally have time to write this review. We purchased one of these back in 2016 with birth of our 1st son and absolutely loved it. Even wrote a great review about. Now with the birth of our 2nd child, we immediately went to purchase the same thing again. But weve been having nothing but trouble w/ the power supply. They changed the power supply, which has proven to be a lower quality item (in spite of them advertising it as an improvement), and as I tried to get support (I didnt have much time as I expressed to the support reps that my child was born w/ a congenital heart issue and we were buried w/ medical appointments), the level of push-back I received from their support was ridiculous (including not even being able to address their emails to the correct person). After many emails of them making ME troubleshoot THEIR PRODUCT, they finally sent me a replacement, with a bunch of hurdles for me to jump through. Great! I receive the new product. Time to move on? NOPE! Now the new product makes a loud humming noise. I again reached out to their support and again, THEY WANTED ME TO START TROUBLESHOOTING IT AGAIN!!!! At this point, I became beyond furious and told the rep to just not contact me anymore. Im beyond this company. From my experience, they felt the need to fix something that wasnt broken. And their support team is anything but supportive. I would not recommend this product nor this company.

Would highly recommend this!!! We have used baby monitors for 12 years. This is our 3rd set. I could not find the other brand we had been using so purchased this camera with the monitor locally. The picture quality is AWESOME. So much better than the others we had. So I ordered 3 more monitors from Amazon for our other rooms. Looking at the monitor is the same quality as if I was in the room with the kids. Night vision is not in color, of course, but the picture quality is just as great. Battery life is great too. I am able to use the monitor overnight without the cord attached. And the cords are really long so they reach the outlet if you need to place the camera on a wall. I tried a different brand with really short cords before I got this one. You can have up to 4 cameras with the monitor. There is no split screen view but they do have a scan which can be set for varying times. Great set!!

This is an excellent monitor system. It is easy to set up and take down, making it great for traveling. The clarity/quality of video is nice as well.

This is an amazing baby monitor! I had tried others but they all had horrible range. The DXR-8 Pro is amazing, the ANR works great and the screen is huge! Honestly very happy with this purchase.

Upgraded our old Infant Optics to the pro version when one of the cameras went dead after a few years of use. Wow! The image on the pro is crystal clear, even in night mode. What an upgrade! The noise reduction has also been helpful with the kids white noise machine. Glad we upgraded!

We had one camera set up for our first child. When we moved her to another room we still wanted to be able to keep an eye on her as she transitioned to a toddler bed. The only thing that would make having two cameras perfect is if it could spit screen. However, going between the two rooms is very easy with just one of the main buttons. I can even have it set up to switch between the two rooms on it’s own. I also love how depending on what room it is viewing, the talk feature will only talk to that room without disrupting the other. I feel like the temperature reading is off on the add-on camera, but that is pretty minor to what it can do without having to buy multiple monitors.

We like it but wish we could record video through the night.

This monitor picture quality is amazing. Even the night vision is so clear and I can zoom in if needed to see my babies. I especially love the rotation of this because my older daughter loves to play in her room and I can keep an eye on her while still doing my chores of cooking, cleaning, etc. The options on the camera are great- it scans back and forth to both of my kids rooms and you can even set the time for scan option. The range is great, too! Perfect camera and monitor.

Bought this extra camera to put in my daughters nursery, and it was super easy to pair with the monitor. We have one in the bedroom over her bassinet, and want to start transitioning her to her crib, so we wanted an extra monitor in there instead of moving the camera each time we put her down for a nap. No issues with connectivity and the picture is great. Overall, no complaints whatsoever.
