Great set of discs for beginners. Bought these and my game immediately started to improve!

Every disc has permanent marks and scuffs on them. They probably work just fine, but I was under the impression these would be new. Put in a replacement order, so well see if the next set its better.

Granted I understand DX plastic is a softer and more grip-ier material, these were warped after the first round. I mean for about $8 per disc I understand theyre not going to last forever, but I didnt expect after a couple tree hits Id already see clear warping going on. Ill definitely stick with GStar, Star, or Champion discs going forward.

Great choice for beginners but I soon outgrew this set and found myself wanting a more specialized plastic. Personally I like the Latitude 64 5 pack a bit more. It feels nicer and is a bit more specialized so I haven’t outgrown them as fast.

Buy this set! You can spend hours researching the best discs for beginners and 30 bucks on 2 discs, and possibly end up with the wrong discs. OR you can get this 5 disc starter set and be throwing tomorrow! If youre a beginner, start with the Leopard and the ROC. Leave the Destroyer at home until you get the hang of the other discs. Hint: as soon as you open them, write your phone number on the back with a permanent marker.

Everything you have come to expect from the Innova products now available in a Starter Set. This set is great for the new player but has room to “grow” into as you gain experience.

When I found this set, my search was for neon colored discs so I could see them easier when I went to play. I know the description said colors will vary but was still expecting some bright colors like in the picture. The bright colors is one of the reasons I chose to order this set over others. The colors I received are pretty basic. But I will still try them out still for performance to see if they are worth it. I would definitely recommend updating the posted picture to more dull colors so people don’t expect variations of neon like colored discs.

Good set to get started. My son has upgraded his disks since this starter, but still carries the set when he brings new-to-disc-golf friends with him so if they lose them in the water or deep woods, he’s not too concerned.
