> 3 dayHavent seen idle temps this low since my 2600k thanks to the internal thermal material. Under a custom water loop from EK, from what Ive seen so far, they wont crack 30 degrees, even after being ran all day and gaming all day. Always stays under 30 idle. Easily over clocks to 5 GHz as well to get those benchmark scores a little higher. Workstation-level of needs will most likely need to go with some more cores, however. Really happy with this new chip overall since I didnt/dont require 16 threads. One of the top chips for gamers right now from what Ive seen.

16-04-2025Vengo del mítico i7 4790k toda una leyenda pero ya se sentía un ligero cuello de botella cuando le puse una gtx 1080 ti, por eso el cambio, juego a 2k y a 144hz y este i5 9600k con la 1080 ti va de maravilla. Simplemente recomendadisimo por su excelente precio solo esta un poquito abajo del i7 8700k en cuestion de rendimiento (en juegos) ambos sin disipador stock algo que deben tener en mente.

> 3 dayI have been building my own gaming pcs since 2011. In an effort to save a few $$, I opt to use the i5 vs the i7 and go for a higher end graphics card. While this may not be the optimal choice for most gamers, it has been a good working strategy for me.

Molto prestante affiancato ad una buona scheda grafica e buoni banchi di ram farà diventare il vostro pc una scheggia, lavora molto bene in single core ma anche in multi core, vi farà godere ogni istante di utilizzo del computer (tra laltro lho pagato meno di altri meno prestanti). Consigliato.
