Intel Core i7-8700K Desktop Processor 6 Cores up to 4.7GHz Turbo Unlocked LGA1151 300 Series 95W

Used this processor in my first custom pc I ever built last fall. So far it’s been amazing, never had any problems with it. Although I do believe I paid a little more than I should have (paid $500) that was because I bought it when it was basically sold out everywhere. Shipping was great, no damage and was shipped securely.

Excellent processor for the price. 6 cores for under $400 is not bad at all. My Extreme 3960X was $1K and had the same core and it had stability issues when it was OC over 4.25ghz. With this CPU it overclocked right out of the box @ 4.7ghz using water cooling; stays @30C @ underload, around 41-42C. while gaming and running stress tests. I have run through no issues with this cpu. Its stable and runs at cool for a 6 core non extreme chip.

The delivery time was ridiculous. Originally it was projected for about two weeks but was late on top of that which wasnt particularly satisfying but as a product it seems to work fine.

it comes with the stock fan dont use that i heard they only last a few months if your gaming so i went with a cooler master the AIR type not the water
