I used this to build a mini itx gaming rig. I am happy with the build. I didnt realize it was an 8700, not an 8700k until after I got it. Totally my fault. I wish I had paid more attention to this so I could attempt to over clock it. But that being said, it runs all the games I currently have 10 times better than the old xeon I had in my last rig. It wasnt meant for gaming though.

So far so good started right up and works perfectly. Burning in time for the week and will up date with benchmarks.

Bought an open box product and someone had delided the processor and glued the lid onto a different one and returned it. I so happened to buy his/her return...

Not only that but by the scuff marks on the heat spreader it looks like it was a refurbished E2180. Ill update this when/if I receive the right part but as for now Intel is completely incompetent.
