Eingebaut, Standarttakt belassen und einen Benchmark gestartet. Wow, geht diese CPU ab. Aber da habe ich doch schon was davon gehört, dass sich diese CPU so richtig heftig übertakten lässt. Also ran ans Werk:

5.0 @ 1.375v. Temps while gaming dont go above 40c. Delid dropped my temps 10c. Before delid games under load with temps @ 50c plus. I can notice a difference from 3770k everything is smoother. Prime 95 temps hit 60c and Aida64 60c. I am content but I might try for 5.1.

This card out of box runs at 4.6 gHz. Use it for 3d rendering and can flip through multiple adobe, rendering, and 3d programs open at the same time with no problems. No bottlenecks with 1080 Ti

No hay mucho que decir acerca del i7, y si hablamos del 8700k, pues menos. Todo lo que le puedes pedir a un microprocesador, el i7 te lo da. Si dispones de presupuesto y quieres simplemente lo mejor, este es tu core.

Meh. I thought I could do an easy Intel upgrade on my B250M Pro-vd mb. Sadly, no. The MB claims i7, but caveats later, Im buyinga mobo. It would have been cheaper and more performant to go AMD.

I can clock it to 5.0 Ghz at 1.35 V

Is an awesome processor with a $389 list price. But way overprice at $459 because the high demand.
