> 3 dayRuns multiple tasks while gaming like a dream, Im the type of person to have multiple tabs and programs running while gaming, upgrading from an 8600, the 9700k allows me to do the same thing ive been doing with better performance and almost no drops. I got this on sale for 350$, but if its not on sale and youre in the market for this cpu I would recommend getting a 3700x or a 9900k considering you can get either for around 450$ spending the extra money is probably the right choice as the multi core performance in more cpu bound games is pretty noticeable. Great cpu, but if youre getting close to the 400$ mark better to spend a little more for something better.

> 3 dayMy friends CPU, I did not use this CPU for my build I went with the I7 8700K CPU, using HWMonitor which reports 12 CPUs on the 8700k and on the I7 9700K it reports 8 CPUs. All in all the CPU works fine we have it OC to about 5 GHZ with no issues.

> 3 dayNo news here. Its an i7 processor, far faster than my 2012 i7 processor. Of course it is. And it isnt cheap. If youre not doing graphics or video go with the i5.
