> 24 hourAmazon was good about a full refund after the first one broke a few weeks after the return window had expired. What broke was the bios... it became unable to boot. I couldn’t even get to the bios menu of F2.

> 24 hourIt took quite a while for me to figure out all the hoops I had to jump through to get a Pop OS live USB stick to boot with the NUC 10. It definitely will not work for Linux live USB sticks out of the box. I guess it is fair enough, since they mainly advertise support for Windows. But due to the poorly designed UI in the BIOS setup, it was a pain the get the settings all just right to allow the Linux Pop OS USB stick to boot. I simply could not get it to boot at all in UEFI mode, even thought the USB stick was set up with a GPT and UEFI boot. I tried Linux Mint as well - no dice. There was nothing wrong with my USB drives - they booted fine in other computers.

> 24 hourVery Easy to install Memory and M.2 Drive. Operating system Win 10 Home installed without any issues. Drivers installed without any issues. The NUC is very fast and works great as a general purpose computer and for watching 4k videos.

> 24 hourIve used NUCs before and have always liked them except for the fan noise. However, this particular NUC is very quiet and doesnt emit lot of fan noise at all. I installed all of the driver, firmware, and BIOS updates from Intel, installed M.2 drive, sata SSD drive, and RAM that are on Intels compatibility list, and everything on the machine is working great with Windows 10 Pro. No problems at all.

> 24 hourI called both companies tech support about the hard drive light staying on constantly. The system loaded fine and ran fine but the hard drive light stays on...constantly. Crucials response was the system loaded fine with no errors after running their drive check software so it must be the others hardware. I switched out the Crucial drive with a Samsung and the light works correctly, which I told Crucial this when I called them but that didnt seem to make much of a difference to them. I tried the same Crucial drive/s in a NUC8i3BEH1 with the same result. So even though Intel didnt have a fix, it isnt their fault really, I will continue to buy them though I was a little disappointed with the support but these are trying times. The NUC10i7FNH1 is very very fast. Oh and I had updated the BIOS on both NUCs but still no happy ending.

> 24 hourThis nuc is awesome. I bought it to replace a functioning macmini that was not performing as fast as I needed. I was tired of apples immoral lock-in practices and decided to go back to building my own system that supports running Linux. The hardware is great. I7 CPU is very fast along with all the other attached module. WIFI bluetooth etc... I am running 3 displays with no problems. I maxed out the nuc to the fullest which is 64GB of ram and I was still under $1k with hard-drive + ram. Very great value for the money. I will be buying nucs as my main computer moving forward. The form factor is perfect for my desk. Small but packs tons of power + speed

> 24 hourThis was a barebones kit. I got my own RAM and SSD, everything went together fine and the NUC even took Linux without a headache. Just make sure that you update your BIOS before trying to install ANYTHING, even Windows. I had the memory, storage, and OS installed in less than 45 minutes and have had zero issues with anything.
