> 24 hourI have an orginal one from prusa as well. This one works the same no problems so far. Used up all my left spool filament just to test. Working as intended.

> 24 hourI purchased 3 kits and I MISTAKENLY thought the magnets were not included. They ARE included and just tucked in a slot cut in the foam. Changing review to 5 stars and will buy again.

> 24 hourThe filament sensor works actually quite well, although there are some quirks in Marlin, that have to be fixed. They relate to the filament change. Logically you would use the unload feature to place a different color filament. If you do that in Marlin, youll be sorry. The firmware does not know how to continue and you may find the nozzle to continue half a mile above the object. However, if you use the extrude function, you may have better luck. Aside, the sensor does what it is supposed to do!

> 24 hourAll the needed parts, for a fantastic price. This works 100% on my Prusa i3 MK2.5S+, which Id just upgraded from a MK2/S. All the parts (magnets, ball bearing, sensor, harness, and screws) were included, which really saved me a lot of time sourcing that stuff. One thing: My sensor did not work, until I switched the white wire (on the 5 slot connector side) from pin 5 to pin 4, as others mentioned (and you can also google Prusa IR sensor pinout to verify!) Once I switched the white (sensor) wire from slot 5 to slot 4 in the connector, and plugged it in, it works 100%.

> 24 hourIt seems to be a good replacement for the original sensor that came in the printer. I installed it and fixed the false filament out errors.

> 24 hourI wish I saw this here before purchasing the upgrade kit from Prusa. Quick back story: Since I bought my MK3 I have never had any luck with their filament sensors working for long. I think I went through 4 in one year. Then they upgraded to the MK3 to MK3S with a new sensor. I upgraded the 1st of June and the new sensor lasted about a month. As soon as I put this new filament sensor in it worked right away. Now time will tell. I see another reviewer mentioned an issue with the cable, I reused the one that came with my upgrade kit.

> 24 hourAfter my old MK3 sensor literally burned up, I got this kit. I printed all the new parts and assembled everything without issue. I now have an MK3S! I hope the sensor is better than the old one. Time will tell.

> 24 hourLike the title. first it was intermittent. Then it didnt work and i powered it with a bench top power supply and it was dead. Amazon though, full refund, cant complain. Just going to pay double and get the prusa made one. Too bad, most others seem to have had really good results. Excited to a get a run out sensor working soon!

> 24 hourThis worked will on the Prusa MK2 to MK2.5S upgrade with the Rambo 13a board. There were slots on the board for the connectors. It is nice to have an autoload feature on the printer. Fit very well into the printed extruder housing and all the parts are in this kit for the upgrade.
