After following the normal protocol for mixing the product is very dark green and hardly any blue once the process is completed. This typically means the chemicals are contaminated. It should dry to a more bronze/brown color and once developed there should be nice rich blue pigment left. Unfortunately that is not the case here. Which is a bummer because I was really hoping this brand would be my go too. I guess Ill continue my search.

Don’t spend your time and money on it. heterogeneous yelow think will newer get you the real cyanotype. Just buy stock liquide cyanotype.

I have already done some cyanotypes and they turned out beautiful! Product says it has a long lasting shelf life. A little goes a long way so I think this amount should last me a while.

I used this type product a little over 40 years ago. Yes, 40. Back then a lab had to make kodalith negatives; now, just printers & transparencies are needed. I followed this exact process with this dry mix product. It was easy as long as you can put it together in a homemade dark room. Life happened, I thought these parts to a planned quilt were lost. They have resurfaced after all these years and look at them! The color has not faded.

I wanted something different to share with my craft loving sisters when they came to visit. This was just the ticket. Unlike the prepared fabrics and papers, there is some prep, of course, and the waiting for things to cure is not so much fun. The results, however, were well worth it. Ill try to post pictures later.

This took a really long time to get to us, but it was worth the wait for my 8 year old and I. We had a great time printing negatives on transparency paper and then making some super pretty cyanotypes on watercolor paper. This is a super easy and fun process that we really enjoyed together.

It was everything I expected it to be. I over did the first few. You dont need to apply a lot to be a good print.
