> 24 hourLet me start by saying that I dont consider myself an audiophile. Im just a guy who can tell the difference between this speaker and that one. My Andrew Jones Pioneers were darn good especially for the price. People described them as warm and neutral sounding. Yeah, I agree with that. Along the way I picked up some JBL Loft 40s for my desk. They had a really good amount of low end for their size, and they too sounded warm. In fact Id dare to say they sound a lot like the Pioneers. Now onto the fun stuff. These little beauties sound as good as they look. I ran them without a sub and holy wow was I impressed at the amount of bass that the S803s were pumping out. They sound clean, and it sounds stupid but i felt as if the music and movies that I tested really jumped out at me, as if the speakers were closer than they really were. I liked it. The center and the surrounds are matched and good for HT, but they lack low end. Thankfully we all own subs (if you dont you should really pause right here and focus on that first. Also, SVS. Youre welcome). At this point Ive seen all of the reviews on the internet and Im going to side with Z reviews. He nailed it. Sure, there might be trickery at work here with how good these sound, but I dont really care. My ears are over the moon. In the pictures you can see the S801 is around the same size as the JBL Loft 40. The S803s are quite a bit larger in every dimension. Youll also notice the add on ATM 8 atmos module. Those werent included in this set, I was just trying to show how they all look together (theyre also a must buy IMO, but this review isnt about them). Im in the middle of moving so I put the center and surrounds back in the box. For now Im going to spoil myself with the front LR+heights only. For the price of this set youre not going to find better speakers.

> 24 hourI cant believe the sound of these speakers. Paired with a 12 inch sub powered by an Onkyo receiver. Sounds like an imax theater. Very pleased!

> 24 hourThicc sound quality for the price. Loving my living room now. Feels like I brought iMax home. With the right head unit/sub combo plus some bass shakers added to my love seat. Complete package for that dolby sound. Great price, sleek ikea furniture look, and legit sound. You can not go wrong with these Jamos 803s

> 24 hourUpdate: I reached out to Klipsch support, after registering on the Jamo website. I figured that after almost a year, they wouldnt likely be helpful. I was wrong! They are shipping me replacements for each of the ones with issues, and a return label for the ones with bubbles showing. Very happy with the service. Original review: This set sounds great, I really like it. Set that center channel right under the TV, and use the receiver to crank the center a little higher than the other speakers, and you will have better dialogue on most movies. They are crisp and clear when loud, instead of thin and grating with the treble. The entire body is some kind of laminate. Most of my speakers have a TON of bubbling all over the body. It is really annoying that they all look so junky up close, because from further back (and up close when new) they look great. It was several months before the bubbles showed up, it was not right away. Im just under a year, right now. Going to try a warranty claim on them, and see what the company can do. Not sure if they will do anything, but its worth a shot.

> 24 hourPoured over reviews and kept finding that pro-audiophiles kept slaming them, but the majority of regular people like them. Here is what I discovered about myself in the process. I definitely am not an audiophile. I wanted to be, but they like terms like flat frequency response and neutral. Guess what? Thats a boring speaker for most of us. They say it has a V curve. Guess what, thats how most of us used to make our equalizer look. Just cranking the treble and bass control (or knob) like a lot of us do, creates what?- a V curve. They just did it for us. If youre a genuine audiophile, you may not like these, but if youre not, as most of us arent, please understand that just because they dont like something, doesnt mean you wont because you probably have different tastes- and thats not a bad thing. As far as the speakers, they sound great and look good. Definitely need a sub (I bought 2 S808s at just over 100 each). I like bright sounding speakers because in a home theater setup, it helps to hear nauances in the sound track (i.e. crickets chirping, wind and rain, etc.) which helps to bring me more into the content. Also, the audiophiles were correct in saying these have wide soundstage, which were noticbly better than any of my previous speakers. For the sale price, these were an amazing deal for what you get. They were good with music as well. Hear is an easy test to see if you like flat and neutral speakers or not. If you have a good AV reciever (or you can audition at a friends or a store) with a good set of audiophile speakers- set the reviever to something like pure direct or equivelant where the reciever shuts off any sound processing and tone controls. If youre not impressed and prefer the music with the processing and tone controls back on, then you dont want neutral sounding speakers.

> 24 hourI ordered this set of speakers from Amazon and they arrived on time. I excitedly hooked everything up and thought it sounded great. Then I noticed a weird sound happening every once in a while. Turns out the center channel speaker is broken and not usable due to the annoying sound the speaker creates. I was going to return the set but I love the sound so much I decided Id just purchase a new center speaker at a later time plus I dont want to go through the whole return an entire speaker set ordeal.

> 24 hourI have a 400 sqft theater room and these do the trick. For the money, I don’t know if you could beat them. Definitely recommend for a first time theater room.
