> 3 dayI prefer a no-frills mechanical machine for my fabric crafts. It can handle 8 layers of fabric plus batting without complaining

> 3 dayMachine arrived with loose screws, wont sew in reverse, etc. Have had a family illness and death in my family which hindered my unpacking and using machine. So, I missed the return window. Now I must take it to a repair shop or throw it in the trash! I am so frustrated Wanted to use it to sew an Easter dress for my granddaughter and now cant.

> 3 dayQuality is not as expected wished I would have spent more money on a better machine, kind of junk and cheap

> 3 dayThe machine is ok but guess i have different idea of heavy-duty.

Yikes
Greater than one weekThe Janome HD3000 is supposed to have a heavy duty motor and and all metal casing. This machine has neither: only part of the casing is metal, and the gears grind at stitching two very thin layers of quilt fabric together, even with a walking foot and 130 chrome needle. It keeps losing thread tension. I need a machine that I dont have to baby. Even if I did keep this machine, I doubt it would last 5 years. Really unimpressed. Returning it.

> 3 dayThe machine is a piece of crap. Unfortunately by the time I realized this the return window had closed. Stay away from this machine.

> 3 dayThis machine doesnt work at all. Save your money, and dont waste your time having to return this piece of garbage.

> 3 dayIm very happy with this purchase. Its a very sturdy machine and I feel confident it will last a long time. My old, lower-quality machine was throwing fits when I sewed cloth masks (sometimes 10 layers on the edges). This beauty powers through with no fuss. It does take a minute to get used to manually rolling the needle up if youre used to a digital machine. My only complaint is that its a little hard to control the speed. She really wants to zoom through straight lines, but I have a little trouble getting her to slow down for careful curves.

Greater than one weekThis seems a great machine so far. Sews through motorcycle gear. Not computerized (Yay!). This machine is heavy but not fully metal, like I was hoping. There’s a lot of plastic involved. Bonus pack is pretty awesome. (PS - Love the black, but it shows every fingerprint.)
