Exactly what you expect from a JBL speaker

I am not easily impressed by audio devices since I am a bit of an audiophile, but I am totally blown away by the sound of this thing. It makes unimaginally deep bass for something that only has about 4 woofers and overall the sound is very clear and powerful. Absolutely worth the price.

Not a big review person, but figured this was worth writing. Bought three different outdoor players... Boombox v 1, Boombox 2, and TurtleBox. TurtleBox was the lightest, but sound quality isnt even close. Boombox 1 and 2 are both a little heavy, but if its at home or with slight travel, the sound is superior. Comparing 1 and 2 isnt close either. The sound quality (most notably the richness in the bass) is remarkable. For 50 bucks, buy #2! Enjoy... you wont believe how good the sound is.

Not as loud as expected, for this much money I’m better off buying something way better.

One of my friends purchased this for us to float New Braunfels river, and she put it in a tube to float but majority of the time it was submerged in the tube and it played like a champ played in the rain because it poured on us and after watching this thing soend six hours submerged in water play in the rain I was sold it never ever lost its quality of sound I have purchased it and absolutely love every JBL variety speaker

Quality of the sound is simply amazing! A bit heavy, compact, looks very good... Worth every penny. Very long lasting battery and you can also charge your phone using the speaker. I wish I wouldve gotten it sooner.
