We love this speaker!! We take it to the lake with us and the beach. Has great sound and the battery lasts awhile. JBL really does a great job with this product. It’s waterproof so I don’t worry about it getting wet.

We use it for indoor full court basketball and it fills the room easily. Connects to apple phone quickly.

What isn’t talked about anywhere is the fact that you can pair two phones to the speaker at the same time and seamlessly switch playing between devices without having the music stop. Just push the Bluetooth button again to pair the second phone and boom two people can be DJ. It’s a game changer.

The JBL boombox 2 is an excellent speaker. The JBL extreme 3 has a more rounded tone. The base is the same. The treble is the same. I just play them loud enough to drown out my neighbors stereos. I connect them for watching movies. Excellent sound. The JBL Go 2. Its nice but it doesnt have the base. And it doesnt have the party feature to connect with the JBL boombox 2 or extreme 3. I use it with my tablet.
