Love the sound quality,battery is trash and doesnt last long. Still worth the money.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but for a pretty expensive speaker I thought I would let you know my experience. After 6 months of use, it stopped charging. I even bought a replacement cord, and now that has stopped working as well. There is some sort of defect where the cord plugs into the speaker, causing it to lose charge. Very disappointed. I do not recommend at all.

We used to have this big, clunky speaker 2-in-1 combo that had a detachable, portable speaker...and then the dog ate through the cord. RIP. The JBL Flip is a powerful little speaker thats great for toting around the house or outside or wherever youre listening to things. I has the sound output of a bigger speaker with convenience and portability. I can hear it playing from the other end of the house, and it seems to have decent range when connected to the phone. I can pretty much go anywhere in my house without it dropping or stuttering. Its easy to use and sync with devices, too, which can be a weak point with bluetooth-connected devices. I havent paid enough attention to the battery life, but so far it seems pretty reasonable compared to my dearly-departed speaker.

This speaker was true quality. Sound was crisp & clear. Easy Bluetooth connection to iPhone. Unfortunately in less than 3 months the Bluetooth stopped connecting. Nothing would play. We followed the directions over again with no luck. Thankfully we fell within the 90 free tech support window. After troubleshooting with an amazon representative she connected us to a JBL associate who was friendly & arranged for a replacement. She sent an email with the necessary information to receive a replacement. I emailed all this back to her immediately. That was the last I’ve heard of her. ZERO customer service follow up to arrange a replacement. After emailing JBL twice still nothing. I contacted amazon to explain the situation. Amazon immediately arranged for a replacement. Return paperwork was provided & a new speaker was sent.

i love this speaker .. i bougth one for my son a few years back and got this for his father for his bday and father day gift

I the way it sounds how easy it is to work

I purchased this item so I could play CDs on my handheld player since new cars no longer have a CD player. It would not work so had to return it.

This product is very good, it automatically can connect to your phone and has great sound quality, the Bluetooth can cut out depending on distance away and potential thickness of the walls between but I had very minimal situations of that happening. I’d highly recommend, charging cord broke in my backpack so that’s partly my fault but wish it was a bit more durable luckily I had another cord that fit in the port so no issues here but be careful with the charging cord.

The bass is good if you turn on low frequency but overall it is a really good buy. Also the 12 hour battery life would he better longer.
