For those considering this over hyped product; this particular example is adequate to listen to low levels (easy to talk over in a medium quiet voice) background music, at distances of arm length or more from the speaker; AFTER the painfully bright high frequencies (above 1K Hz) have been equalized own from 1 to 3 on a Samsung phone equalizer display.

This thing sounds incredible for the size. You can legitimately feel the bass of the lows, the mids are punchy and warm, the highs are clear. Theres no distortion at high volume. JBL knows how to build a speaker, even portable ones. Ive owned a few other brands in this size and they dont even come close to this one.

This is the 2nd JBL speaker Ive had, the first being a Clip2 I got about 3 years ago which has had almost daily use and continues to go strong with only just recently showing signs of the battery starting to wear out. So far the Flip4 has been great. Super loud, good clarity and bass. Battery life is excellent, my phone will go dead before this thing will. Havent had the need to test how waterproof it is though yet.

I hate to workout without music! This little speaker was all I needed. The sound is full, rich and has enough volume to be heard over the noisy pool equipment. I love that it connects automatically when I turn it on. Being waterproof makes it ideal to use by the pool. Water aerobics can get splashy.

This speaker sounds great, holds a charge for a long time, and is easy to pack! Ive brought this down to the lake and beach and have really enjoyed some great music! I would definitely recommend this speaker!

Purchased for my daughter for Christmas. We were just jamming out to music. Awesome sound for a tiny little speaker! I will definitely be purchasing another for myself and probably the add on’s people were talking about!

Love the sound for its size. Bluetooth stays put. A little hassle setting up with my Echo, but that was Amazons fault. Great speaker.

wasnt expecting such good sound quality out of a little speaker. great highs and lows and super clear. Boat this to use on my sailboat and can hear it perfect while its in the cabin. Paired up easily to my phone and ipad and i love the buttons on the top. You can submerge this speaker under water and it keeps playing like normal, also feels very rigid. over all just a really good well rounded speaker

Strap broke after a week

it’s great! love the sound & the fact that it’s fully water proof, we’ve dropped one in the pool & it worked perfect after. & it’s small so easy to slip on a bag for the pool or beach!
