> 3 dayI purchased 2 of these... one for my wife and one for me. We have electric bikes and go on long rides with them. Previously my wife was the one with a speaker and I was without... however, her speaker (it was a Sony) started acting up so we looked into something else. We found these and decided to order 2 because you can share the music with a 2nd (and probably more) speaker(s). We just received them today and we are very impressed with them! It is awesome to be able to share the music between the two speakers using the PartyBoost feature. We tested them out and were able to get about 25 yards apart and the music was still pumping without skipping a beat! :) If you are looking for a small speaker that can belt out the music then I highly recommend this product

> 3 daySounds better than my old Bose SoundLink Mini. Much cleaner bass. JBL Portable app really makes this thing come alive. Most reviews I watched tested with JBL app/EQ off. Whats the point? Need to get a Bose SoundLink Flex to compare. Very happy with the purchase. Great form factor battery life etc ..

> 3 dayI debated whether to purchase this or the Beats Pill. I chose this one due to the water resistant aspect of the JBL Flip 6 and the fact that the recipient often uses the device while in the shower. We recently used this while completing general chores and noted the ease of setup/connection. The sound quality is good for a speaker this size. It easily filled a living room/ dining room with fair quality music. Note, the speaker does seem easy to roll over as the base is not very large. I have not had a chance to test the battery life and may update this review if it is an issue. I have actually purchased two of these devices. Happily, I noted the two devices can be connected for a stereo effect.

> 3 dayThe JBL replaces my old Trelab 77, which I had for a couple of years. The Trelab was an okay unit, it was just built with some less expensive parts - the charger was a mini USB; the female connection slowly but surely deteriorated over the years to the point where it wouldnt charge. This unit uses a USB C connection which is much sturdier. Second, the sound is better; the bass mid and treble are all crystal clear. I dont think its as loud a the Trelab, but the clarity and quality of the sound more than makes up for the slight volume loss. I really like the JBL a lot.

> 3 dayPandora is new to me, so is the notion of portable music. Well not exactly... I had a transister radio in the early 60s which beat my 50s crystal radio. Some where along the way listening to and sharing music, fell in to, get togethers around the sterio, or traveling in the car. 8 tracks where grand! I am used to some control of EQ. This unit has no easy provision for this. May be an app? The current fad is base heavy. This has a habit of clouding vocals. This Flip 6 is built and marketed to a less than audiophile demographic. I am amazed how much umph and grunt such a compact unit can produce! It lacks any aux inputs, which is disappointing. It would be nice to use our loaded ipods. To this end I tried a bluetooth adapter. It sucks off so much signal in the mids and upper mids, I gave up on that idea, before searching for better adaptors. Instead I went for a Charge 4. It is not as derailed as the Flip 6, but a nudge up in power, remarkable. This new portable excitement, brought me around to a JBL Go 3. This is what I use the most. Its size harkens back to the day when I scrounged around trying to come up with batteries to keep my transistor radio going.
