The first one arrived in a package that had clearly been previously opened. While it paired ok with the phone and TV, the bass sounds were rattly and scratchy even when the JBL app was used to minimize the bass. I decided to take a chance on a replacement rather than a refund and Im glad I did. The replacement is excellent. My only criticism is that it rolls around too easily and that the power button is on the bottom rather than the top.

Works perfect! Delivery was 2 days later than it said it was going to be, but just.glad it finally showed up cause its a great portable speaker from JBL!

It sounds better than any stereo

JBL Flip6- I had the Flip5 saved in my wish list for some time. When I finally decided to buy it, I saw they had newer model (Flip6). This device is amazing. Solid built and easy-to-use. The sound is unbelievable for a device of this small size. The sound is rich and deep. It uses Wave technology where the sound runs through a internal channel to increase its richness. (Similar to the Bose Wave Radio) Very impressive sound quality and it doesnt distort when on its highest volume. Im not sure of its Bluetooth range, for Im sure if you walked out of its range, you probably wouldnt hear it anyway. I believe the difference between the 5 and 6 is the 6 can be linked to other Flip6s to sync the audio between them all. Perfect for parties so sound will be everywhere.

This is a very nice speaker. It is very loud and clear and it has very good bass. Its easy to carry around with the case that you can buy for it and it lasts a really long time. The only thing I would like is if it showed the exact battery percentage. Its shown on a light bar on the side but that is it. It doesnt show if it is charging on your device or what percentage it is at.

I purchased 2 of these... one for my wife and one for me. We have electric bikes and go on long rides with them. Previously my wife was the one with a speaker and I was without... however, her speaker (it was a Sony) started acting up so we looked into something else. We found these and decided to order 2 because you can share the music with a 2nd (and probably more) speaker(s). We just received them today and we are very impressed with them! It is awesome to be able to share the music between the two speakers using the PartyBoost feature. We tested them out and were able to get about 25 yards apart and the music was still pumping without skipping a beat! :) If you are looking for a small speaker that can belt out the music then I highly recommend this product

I just received my JBL Flip 6 yesterday, charged it up, and hooked up the Bluetooth to my phone. Then, to test it I put on a YouTube recording of I Wont Dance (Sinatra with fantastic big band and arrangement by Nelson Riddle). BLEW ME AWAY!!! The sound of this little unit is fabulous. By the way - I have a Bose TV Sound Bar which cost twice as much as the little JBL unit and the JBL blows it out of the water. I do not know how long it will last, but for now I have to give it FIVE HAPPY STARS!!! Thanks!

Love the functionality of this thing, but the sound quality is lacking. Its been crackly since day 1. I dont even use it to blast music, I use it to watch TV/movies on my laptop. I hope JBL improves the quality in the future.
