> 3 dayI got this mainly to introduce my almost 5 and almost 3 year old girls to the concept of a game with rules and taking turns. They do a lot of imaginative play but havent really started any board games or other games. They quickly learned how to play Jenga and also learned how to help each other by pointing out loose blocks that are easy to push out. Its amazing to see how carefully the 3 year old will push out and remove the block so that the tower doesnt fall. We sometimes play as a whole family, or sometimes I help the girls set it up and then just supervise them when they play. They have a lot of fun and start dramatically acting nervous and anxious when it looks like the tower might fall. Another plus is that they love blocks in general, and sometimes just build with these or pretend they are play food. I just have to make sure they put all the blocks away when they are done. Also a tip with the cardboard guide -- as soon as I opened the package, I stuck stick-on book cover material all around the outer surface and folded over the edge to make it more durable, so I think that way it will last a good while. We almost never use it when building though! Also, I love the storage container, and a few times have managed to store the blocks as a ready-to-play tower (by stacking the tower into the cardboard guide upside down and carefully sliding it into the container). The whole thing is light enough for my younger girl to carry around. Overall, a really great purchase.

> 3 dayA fun game for all ages and no small parts for babies to choke on when the grandkids leave it laying around.

> 3 dayI purchased this as a gift for my then 5 year old last Christmas. He has had much fun playing Jenga, the game, but even better this does overtime as blocks, or extra support for the wooden train tracks. Younger brother loved to chew on them (no damage to the blocks or game-play) when he was six months old and now at 18 months he loves dumping them, stacking and putting them back in the container. Highly recommended for fine motor skills as Jenga the game, but even more so for the creative play opportunities! My only wish was that the cardboard stacking guide were a bit stronger and/or the container was slightly larger. The children cannot get the pieces plus the cardboard guide back into the container unless they pre-stack for the next game, which doesnt really happen...

Greater than one weekI got this for my grandson (5 yrs old). He loves playing with it for its original purpose, but the little blocks are very nice and sturdy, so he builds things with it for his tiny cars and so on.

> 3 dayBased on some of the other reviews, I was a little nervous about getting the correct version. I am happy to report that it came as advertised, in the original, round carrying box. It seems very sturdy and there are no blemishes on the exterior. I havent actually opened it up yet, and if theres anything to add Ill update this review. But if you dont see any updates here, you can assume everything was okay on the inside, too.
