I had two delivered on the west coast, vastly apart, and both arrived in the cylinder pictured. For all the hype about knock offs, these are made in China, so in a way, they’re knock offs, too. The quality is fine- no complaints. I do worry about any chemical treatments used to treat the wood in China that might otherwise be banned in the US, as well as the trees used. For all I know, they came out of the Amazon or Malaysian rainforest...

I would recommend purchasing.

I got this for my grandson (5 yrs old). He loves playing with it for its original purpose, but the little blocks are very nice and sturdy, so he builds things with it for his tiny cars and so on.

I love that it came with this carrying case instead of the typical box that over time wears away.
