This product provides me with a good environment for watching movies, and it supports several input methods, including mobile phones, computers, memory cards, and so on. If you are a person who often watches movies and TV, this is worth your purchase.

Terrible audio. The fan is just as loud as the speaker.

Let me start by saying this $200 projector is better than the LCD one I bought for $2000 15 years ago (Panasonic L300U). But it has some issues that might be a deal breaker for you. PROS : Great picture. Nice black levels. Lightweight and easy to mount (I made my own). Its BLACK (what is with all these white projectors?!), True native 1080p. It has a nice response time so playing video games on it works great as well. LED lamp means tens of thousands of hours, so using it as much as a TV is just fine. CONS : Noisy. You wont notice most of the time but during quiet scenes you hear the fan. The lens cover only goes on if the lens is completely retracted inside the unit, meaning you have to refocus every time you use it (you may want to fashion your own cover to avoid this). It also gets dusty. 6 months in there are grey spots ALL OVER the screen in white scenes. You can open it up and clean them off, but a better filter system should have been put in place. Again you might do your own to fix this. Im not sure if the fan intake is the only place the dust gets in though. OVERALL : For $200 its a great projector, ticking many of the boxes I was waiting for at this price-point (1080p native, response time, black levels) but youll have to do some old fashioned modding to get rid of the dust/noise/lens cover gripes.

Projector picture quality is good for a 1080p projector and brightness is really clear and sharp. The built in speaker is loud enough that if you dont have the TV volume up, its enough to watch what you are with clarity. My only issue is the fan on this unit is quite loud though im not sure if its all like this or just mine but when the volume is turned up, not really noticeable.

Iv had for a while the picture was nicer than I expected. I like that you can hook up what you want even gaming console. I only dislike the sound quality but it’s better than nothing and maybe you can get a small sound bar for it then it will be perfect! But def recommend !

This projector is amazing. I got it as a gift for Christmas. It looks super big and bright on my gray wall and the sound quality is good too. You cant see it that well when the lights are on but thats a given. You can also adjust the quality. I use Apple Tv for mine but Im sure you can connect it to a phone or Laptop.

For the price it is good. Fairly cheap and it works as advertised. However if you want real quality I’d recommend coughing up a couple extra hundreds and clearing your head. I bought this to get a cinema-like feel for my house and I was departing from the traditional TV setup. However, it isn’t incredibly picture accurate. You can tell the colors are warped -though not in a massive sense- and the darks are too dark. That’s annoying but livable for the price. BUT the real deal breaker for me was the fan noise. It is really noticeable especially coming from the controlled environment I set up. I will admit that the speaker in itself is very loud and covers it up well and made me regret buying a sound bar but using the sound bar the fan noise is too noticeable and irks you during the movie. Overall, I believe it is a great budget projector but not so great general home theater projector.

After watching so many videos on projectors I made my decision with this projector. So far I love it! Colors are amazing as well as the audio. 10/10

The M18 v1.0 is probably one of the best budget projectors on the market. Its picture quality is great (so much better than $100 budget projectors), its brightness is decent for most room lighting conditions, and its sound quality is good. The fans/motor noise is loud, but you tend to not notice it after a couple of weeks. Strategic projector placement and external speakers may help. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend any native 1080p projectors, and specifically M18, to any friends/family looking for a mostly enjoyable projector viewing experience. Breakdown incident - after unplugging it for the holidays (~6 days), we plugged it back in and suddenly it wouldn’t turn on. We troubleshooted with new power cord and using other outlets, but still no power (besides faint green light on power button). After communicating with customer service via email, they kindly agreed to send us a new replacement projector free of charge. We’ve had it for a week now, and things appear to be working great again. Long story short, when the projector works as expected, it’s great; when it doesn’t, JIMTAB support will help you troubleshoot and eventually take care of you properly, so it’s great then too.

We bought this for our apartment rather than a TV....what a great idea. I watched reviews on youtube first before buying. It makes a huge tv and takes up little space. You can barely hear the fan and the sound that comes from it is awesome. We might still add some more speakers though for surround sound. First thing I put on was a national geographic show to see how well the HD was and wow!...10/10 great buy!
