> 3 dayLets start with this is a really good projector for what it costs but its not watchable in my home theatre. When I first set this up the picture was beyond awful even after adjusting the keystone and focus and I didnt expect it to be great considering the low price. I felt something was wrong with my setup and spent several hours researching before I blamed the projector. I read the digital keystone adjustment lowers the resolution so I lowered my Xbox video output to 720p and that was a huge improvement. From what I read a sharp angle will reduce the quality of the image on most projectors so Im going to fix that as my projector is hanging from a 9ft ceiling when most are 8. I have the projector in an all black room and the image is projected onto a projector screen and its almost unwatchable set at 9ft away from the screen. I think this will be a great projector for the price if its installed where I dont have to use keystone adjustment and its closer to the screen so the projected image is 75 inches or less. Im probably going to return it and get a TV or a more expensive projector. If I dont return it Ill use it for playing movies outside l. Ill update the review after reducing the angle the keystone has to adjust to. Do your research before deciding to buy a projector if you plan to use it everyday. Its not like a TV where you hang it on the wall and your done. This is a more work and higher potential enjoyment scenario. Id like to see this brand create a mid range projector Im very impressed for the money spent but I got what I paid for a budget projector. I tried adjusting it again with a flush mount and than moving it closer so the screen was 75 inches. It looked better but I wasnt feeling it. This is a good projector for the price.

> 3 dayUPDATE (left the original review below). The replacement had the same issue with Chromecast (crackling sound, sound ahead of picture) while working fine with a Roku. The real problem? I use this for about 1 to 2 hours an evening. This replacement came is early March. It is now early April and in the middle of a film last night the picture died but the sound kept working. I tried all the troubleshooting steps and nope, just a dead visual. Suffice to say, this time its just a return. I guess you really do get what you pay for... And yes, the fan is LOUD. For the price, the picture is fine; probably not true native 1080p, but if youre only looking to spend a couple hundred bucks you could do much worse. The issue here is the sound. The fan is CRAZY loud. But thats not my issue. After about two weeks of using about 2 hours a day for movie nights, the speakers started crackling and popping like when youre on a road trip and youre just starting to get out of range of the radio station youre listening to. Amazon was great about an exchange, so when the replacement comes well see if I just had a bum unit or if this is a product-wide issue. UPDATE So it seems the issue is casting. If I plug a Roku into it, no problem. But a chromecast? Bluetooth? Sounds lags behind the choppy picture. Deciding whether or not this is reason to simply return the product and find something else.

> 3 dayI debated back and forth on budget projectors. Many of the comments/questions had answers that took both sides of the things I was asking. So .... here is my side - Fan Noise: Using outside, I didnt even know the projector was running it was so quiet - Brightness: Excellent. Even with some ambient lighting it still had a quality picture. Once dusk hit. WOW - Throw: A bit closer of a throw that I wanted, but that does also mean it will cast a large picture from further back - Sound: Its there, its ok, youll want speakers. Good in a pinch in a quiet room. I didnt buy it for the sound - Versatility: Has all the plugs and connectors - Remote Control from Front/Back: Yep - Customer Service: SPOT ON and PROMPT Cons (more nitpiks): - having to adjust the lens for the cap is a pain, but it is what it is

> 3 dayI picked this up on a whim to see how it might perform vs. more expensive projectors. As the old adage goes - you get what you pay for! The claim that this projector somehow reaches 6,000 lumens is totally and unequivocally false. If it was that bright it would be as bright as a television (if not more so) in a suitably lit room. This one falls short. Way short. Its very dim - so dim in fact that it looks about the same as other more reputably marketed projectors that advertise 500 lumens of brightness. Compared to my decade old 720p projector that operates at 2500 lumens its night and day. So where did they get this lumen figure from? Well they likely just stuck their light meter in the lens - even when I did that with a white image I only measured about 4500 even with the upgraded version of their projector. In the real world the image youll get even at a 75 projection size is dim and low quality. I found it nearly impossible to get a clean focus. The edges are always blurry no matter how perfectly aligned the projector is to the surface. The bottom line is that this is no shortcut to quality. Youll get a projected image for a low price here price but not a good one. You do indeed get what you pay for!

> 3 dayVery good quality projector especially for the money. The reason its not 5 star to me is there is no automatic screen fitting feature. What this means is that the only way to get the projector to look to fit a certain size and be a perfect rectangle without the screen being distorted is it physically has to sit in the right location which is not always an option for everyone due to room size pr furniture arrangements. Also there is no horizontal keystone shifting only vertical. Other then these criticisms its a high quality bright projector. Just make sure you have the ability to put it in the correct spot to fit your wall/screen in your home before you buy it

> 3 dayThe AVI cable included is much too small for any use, I have seen longer ones and I dont know why an inch long one was included. Other then that the idem seems to work perfectly. I like how for a first one for me personally it seems to work great. I was going to go for a cheaper option, but after watching a few youtube vids I went with what I call mid range price. The picture quality seems fine to me and I like the little remote included as well.

> 3 dayCould definitely use a better instruction booklet that explains how to adjust the menus on the settings. Someone starting out has really not enough information in what to do on getting the screen adjusted properly.

Greater than one weekBought this projector after only doing a little research online and am content with it. Even in medium lighting in my room, I can make out enough of the picture to see what is going on but that is just the nature of projectors, an already bright room will decrease picture clarity. Overall very pleased with this projector and feel it was a pretty good value. Wish Id have done more research to find one that would automatically adjust the picture because it really limits where you can put it and have it work. If you put it at an angle to the surface it is projecting on, the closest side will be smaller than the farther one. There are a couple manual adjustments you can make to focus the lens or tilt the screen but neither really helps enough to make mounting it point at much of an angle a viable option. Originally I wanted it in the corner of my room but quickly learned that wont work unless I wanted a lop sided screen so I ended up buying a ceiling mount and putting it on the ceiling where it works great. Ultimately this was my fault for not doing the research so I am not holding it against them. Overall, good projector and if you understand the limitations and can work around them, this is a good buy. > Best in darker rooms > Needs to face directly at the surface it will be playing on for best results > Semi noisy fan but it is a projector, easy to ignore once you get use to it > Can flip its orientation to accommodate being mounted up side down or on either side > The remote and construction seems of decent quality

> 3 dayThis projector is amazing. I got it as a gift for Christmas. It looks super big and bright on my gray wall and the sound quality is good too. You cant see it that well when the lights are on but thats a given. You can also adjust the quality. I use Apple Tv for mine but Im sure you can connect it to a phone or Laptop.
