> 3 dayI picked this up on a whim to see how it might perform vs. more expensive projectors. As the old adage goes - you get what you pay for! The claim that this projector somehow reaches 6,000 lumens is totally and unequivocally false. If it was that bright it would be as bright as a television (if not more so) in a suitably lit room. This one falls short. Way short. Its very dim - so dim in fact that it looks about the same as other more reputably marketed projectors that advertise 500 lumens of brightness. Compared to my decade old 720p projector that operates at 2500 lumens its night and day. So where did they get this lumen figure from? Well they likely just stuck their light meter in the lens - even when I did that with a white image I only measured about 4500 even with the upgraded version of their projector. In the real world the image youll get even at a 75 projection size is dim and low quality. I found it nearly impossible to get a clean focus. The edges are always blurry no matter how perfectly aligned the projector is to the surface. The bottom line is that this is no shortcut to quality. Youll get a projected image for a low price here price but not a good one. You do indeed get what you pay for!
