I used this to repair my daughters iPad. It was not difficult to install and work great for a few weeks. I had some problems with the touch function so contacted customer service. They were easy to work with any quickly sent a replacement that is still working great.

Good quality. If you are careful, you can switch out the original home button for the one on the new screen to keep its fingerprint verification capability.

Don’t buy this product! After i intalled it, the screen going haywire, then it froze.. now my ipad wont by pass the start screen!

EDIT: no oleophobic coating. First I would like to start off by saying that this screen came well packaged and included the necessary tools in order to replace my iPad 8 screen. I noticed when handling the screen, that it was much thinner than the original screen that came on the iPad. I didn’t really worry about it at the time, so I proceeded to install the screen. If you follow simple tutorials on youtube, this is going to be a walk in the park repair. When I went to close the device I pressed firmly around the edges to make sure the screen was aligned and sticking to the frame, but unfortunately it cracked when I was doing that. The screen itself is sturdy, but if you add too much force it will easily crack. Maybe I wasn’t being as careful, but it definitely a thinner display than the one that originally came on the iPad.

Worked very well easy install

Not the correct screen for the A2197 model of iPad... the screen sent has these flaps/sensors on it that are not correct for this model nor on the original screen removed. When installed on the wrong model it makes the screen react when not being touched.
