At the end of the day I just cant recommend this unless you need a replacement case. It just doesnt bring enough to the table to be worth a purchase if your factory case doesnt have anything wrong with it. Pros: it is a bit bigger than the factory steamdeck case so you can at least secure your power brick and maybe a cable or adapter or two inside of the case without using the weird bag and elastic that the factory steamdeck case uses. It also seems to fit a steamdeck with a protective shell on it a bit better than the factory case (pictured). Also on the positive side, I could see using the built in prop for watching media on the deck. Cons: despite being bigger than the factory case it still isnt big enough to hold the power adapter and Jsaux dock (pictured) at the same time. This is pretty disappointing considering the size increase (pictured). I (wrongly) figured that Jsaux would at least take the size of their own components into mind when designing this. Im also not very sure how well the fabric on the outside of the case will hold up to wear and tear. In conclusion this case isnt bad by any means but I also dont think that I could really recommend it since it is pretty bulked up without much to show for it.

It smells like vinegar, also you cant fit a JSAUX dock AND a charger in the storage. It does one or the other. Otherwise its a pretty nice case, but I think Im gonna try to do something about the horrible vinegar smell before bringing it anywhere.

Look nice, But handle broken.

With all of the design and iteration that went into the Steam Deck, why would Valve ship a case with an elastic covered cavity instead of an internal storage area? What a disappointing wtf moment when I unboxed my Deck. Im sure theres a reason, but I just cant understand Valves design choice. Anyway, Im quite pleased with how this case is working out. I especially like the molded top that does not press against the thumbsticks. There are two cons though: 1. The folding flap stand blocks the air intake, but I dont use the flap much anyway. 2. The velcro that holds the flap down barely sticks. If I were to forget to zip the case (I havent yet) theres no way that the velcro would prevent (or even delay) the deck from falling out.

I can fit portable Bluetooth folded keyboard, folded mouse, USB dock and wireless ear buds in the case. Having the stand for the steam deck too, its a solid option.

Sturdy, reliable, holds your SD Cards, holds your charger, protects your screen, and smaller than the original. Good job. 10/10

dont keep shopping, just get this one. it lets you fit everything inside the case no problem, with room for stuff like small earbuds, small mouse, and/or even a tiny travel keyboard.

The deep pocket on the inside of the case is just phenomenal. It does not add much depth to the overall case height but still has enough internal volume to be incredibly useful. For anyone wondering, the internal dimensions of the interior cavity are: 16.5cm x 11cm x 3.5cm

As the headline says. Way better than the oem case. Its thicker and nicer. I have 1 tiny gripe. I wish the compartment in the bottom were a little bigger. Its tough trying to find a powerful battery pack in a small size that can handle the Steam Decks charging needs. Once I put a battery pack in, that just leaves room for a cable. Other than, way to go Jsaux!

My only complaint with the deck was the crap case. This is the case that should have shipped with it. Perfection compared to the @ss valve calls a case.
