My fifth graders enjoy reading all of Junies stories.

I wanted to like these books, but after listening to my Kindergartner read a few pages, I had to stop her. Throughout the books, young readers will find both glaring and subtle grammatical errors, such as me and Grace and I did a giggle. Additionally, many of the scenarios and topics addressed in the stories are of questionable appropriateness (e.g., discussing cops resting [sic] drunk people. While I respect creative liberties generally in representing a Kindergartners use of language, if the purpose of literature is to enhance literacy while also creating rich contexts for such learning, then these books accomplish just the opposite. How can we teach our children to speak and write correctly and compellingly if these are the examples with which we provide them? Im sorry if I come across philosophically, but I feel nearly betrayed by the professional negligence demonstrated by this author.

My 7 year old daughter loves ALL Junie.B Jones books! this was a great addition to her ever growing collection!

Got skeptical after reading other reviews saying they got duplicates in the box set but I got all 4 different books. Not dented or scratched. Daughter loves these books so theyre gonna be perfect for Christmas. EDIT: I ordered this again for a friends daughters birthday present and once again was perfect. All 4 books as described, not scratched, dented or bent, and no duplicates!

Just a described, packaged appropriately, new in good condition. Arrived on time, a great a back to school gift.

I purchased all the Junie B Jones books for my 7 year old. We have laughed and been thrilled by the main character (who is a real crack up) in every single book. I highly recommend this complete set for you and your little girl. We read together every night, and there were a few explanations I had to share. It has been a fun, learning experience for both of us Terry

I had bought one book of Junie B. from a retail store. After reading it to my Granddaughter, we were both hooked on the adventures. Since purchasing the sets, my Granddaughter is now reading on her own, and loves coming to grandmas , were she now reads the books to me! She is 7 yr. old, and gets the humor of the stories. Would highly recommend the series, we have many conversations related to the adventures of Junie B.
