I got this patch cable because it was more cost effective than buying 25 of cable and making my own. Something happened to the cable I had. I hardly picked up any voltage from my panels to the combiner box. This came in, I replaced the bad cable with this one and my meter instantly showed current. The cables were pretty flexible and allowed a pretty tight bend in the cable without any problems. Ran tests from the panels all the way to the breaker. All of the tests were spot on! would recommend these patch cables.

These solar cables and connectors are really well made and perfect length for my application to charge my battery with my panels. I recieved the 10ft cables.

-These are solid medium duty MC-4 extension cables. -At the time of this writing, I do not know the asking price, making it difficult to assess whether they are a good value or not. -However, I have tested a lot of JYFT brand items, and the price always seems very competitive, and better quality than similarly prices chinese brands. -JYFT is a chinese brand, but theyve been around for 15 years, not a fly by night brand. -They specialize in cables, so theyre better than a generic chinese brand. -If you have any issues they have multiple ways to contact customer support. -Ive tried several other cables from this brand, theyre all good quality and good price - solid medium grade or even upper-medium grade. -These are no exception to the quality I was expecting - cable is medium duty, connectors are good gauge copper. -Some people were complaining that the material isnt copper. Thats not accurate - they have a weatherproof coating on top of the copper, giving it the silver color, but the core is solid copper.

This is not a big brand one, but the cable is well built with good quality. Use it to extend the portable solar panel which has MC4 connectors. The other end is opened without connectors that you can make your own whatever conversion adapter or hardwired into the solar controller. The wire is a stranded type, not a single solid one, so it offers great flexibility. Price is reasonable, good build quality with sturdy MC4 connectors in ~AWG10 cable which can carry up to 30A. Recommended solar panels extension cables. Keep in mind that they are in male and female MC4 connectors on one end of each cable, and the other end is open for you to hardwired or cramp your own connector.

Decent enough quality cables Im not very experienced with them but they seem to look and feel okay to me and the price was fair

Its probably cheaper to buy the length of 10 AWG stranded that you need for your application and then add connectors but if you are new to solar, lacking in tools and experience, and just need to tie your solar into a bank of batteries or fuse panel, these wires are for you. With one end terminated already you can feed the open end through smaller holes in your RV or camper roof. These are great quality wires.

I have no experience with these connectors, so perhaps this behavior is normal, but almost had to make the connections with pliers. Perhaps this is necessary to assure water tightness.

Its definitely cheaper to buy bulk and custom crimp. But if you have connectors on one side and lug on other this is a good option to avoid buying a crimp tool or spending the money for cables with connectors on both sides and cutting it off to throw away.

I needed an extension cable a small RV solar panel that was being moved, and I had no clue about brands, but then i saw a JFYT cable. Ive purchased several electronics cables from JFYT (HDMI, USB, and Toslink) and Ive been impressed with the build quality for the price. I was also impressed that those products, basically commodity products, contained the brand name embossed on each end of the cable. This extension cable is like all my JFTY cables in all respects: Well built Solid connectors Correct length JFYT log embossed on connectors. To me, that last one, the embossed company name, is important in comparing commodity products. When I see a company name on a product like this, especially one that is embossed and permanent, is that the company is spending money to build a brand name rather than trying to make the one sale and move on. They want to build a brand name and are proud of the product they are selling. Importantly, it indicates that the company WANTS to be found by its customers - the last generic cable I had go bad had no name / logo on it and I couldnt figure out if it had any warranty, no less find the company to pursue it. Bottom line: its a well-built cable that performs properly made by a company that is building its brand and is easy to find in the event you need support.

I added Anderson power pole connectors to the other end and these cables are working well in my solar setup.
