This was recommended by Amazon to go with the diamond quadband antenna. Ordered them together, received them quickly. However this does not fit the diamond antenna that it was recommended for. 2 completely different mounting types for what this fits and what the diamond 8900 quadband requires

A really rock-solid, well-built mount.

Im using 2 of these; one for 2m/70cm and the other for 27 MHz. Very easy to install and the length of coax is perfect. Be sure to tighten down the 4 mount screws through the paint to the metal of the vehicle.

I got a D220r mobile discone from Ham outlet, which has a UHF connector and fit with K400S. The product comes with a UHF base with SMA female on the other end. I can connect this directly to my SDR dongle. I would say anyone with basic hands-on experience can install this mount pretty easily.
