Defitenitely helps cleaning old paint and other things. For some reason, it couldnt clean my bathtub stains.

aside from the physical effort it takes to strip paint, this tool was more than up to the task. well made, i expect it to last for years!

I liked that i could use this with my drill to scrape off some paint. However, the battery for my drill died quicker than i needed it for so that was a hassle (unrelated to actual product). It will only go in one direction, the other direction would undo the wiring. I only used the harder one, not the finer bristle one since i am removing paint. Dry paint is easier to clean (but risking lead), wet paint a little more difficult to clean off the bristles but better for dealing with lead.

Great product for all work around the house.

These little guys are tough, and mean. The knotted stainless one in particular is very aggressive on rust caked on steel, and yest it doesnt sacrifice itself to the job, like unknotted ones tend to. Fairly priced, should last awhile.

Works well for removing rust and old paint.
