KAVU Rope Sling - Compact Lightweight Crossbody Bag

This is the perfect size for every day use. I like that it has several pockets and the single crossbody strap. My cell phone fits perfectly in the front zipper pocket for easy access.

This is my 2nd Kavu Rope Sling bag. I purchased another because I liked the first one ALOT! It is easy to wash, wear and hold items.

I’m a mail carrier with the usps and this bag is perfect to sling over my passenger seat and keep all my forms, pens, snacks, etc.

I bought this bag for our trip to Disney. It is super cute, comfortable, JUST big enough to fit everything we needed and it being insulated was a huge bonus. My Hubby actually didnt mind carrying it and preferred it over a regular back pack. It worked Perfectly. After our trip I pulled it out again to take to a local amusement park and realized that there was a rip on the inside lining near the zipper. What a Bummer!! Granted it was used hard - Disney Vacays are intense - but for the $ spent I was very disappointed that it ripped already. Well still continue to use it until it wears out completely because it is a really great bag.

I have gotten a number of nice compliments on this bag. Although I havent used it in the rain, it is a nice tight weave. I guess it would have been nice if it had a pocket for a water bottle on The edge. Otherwise it is very well made.

Love this bag! Got the galaxy pattern and I love it. The side sling style comes in handy when out and about with my kids!

I absolutely love this bag. I have always been someone who has carried large purses, as I tend to carry a lot of stuff with me (I’m the mom of the friend group). However, it’s difficult whenever they’re shoulder bags because then after some time you get shoulder pain, and the straps wear, etc. etc. With this Kavu bag, I can wear it all day, and it’s incredibly comfortable and functional, as I can just sling it around to the front when I need to grab something. It has so much storage space, enough for everything I need and then some. The strap is extraordinarily durable, and I don’t see it breaking or even fraying anytime soon. I get compliments on it all the time for the interesting pattern, and I love how it’s neutral so it matches nearly every outfit. This has become my day to day bag, and I’m rarely without it. The front pockets are especially useful as well, because I can throw my chapstick in the small upper pocket, and my wallet fits perfectly in the bottom zip pocket so I can easily access it. As for it being waterproof, I’ve spilled coffee on it, and liquid does soak into it, so don’t think it can be submerged, but even in pouring rain, my stuff is still well protected. The only problems I’ve run into with it is that some establishments consider it a backpack instead of a purse, which it’s technically not, but oh well. Overall, I truly would recommend to anyone looking for a functional everyday bag with a lot of storage space.
