KAVU Rope Sling - Compact Lightweight Crossbody Bag

so cute. so versatile. docked a star because the inside pocket of the main pouch wasnt sealed off from the back of the backpack.

I was looking for something that was attractive and stylish, easily removed and worn, and big enough to store some folders and books. This seemed to be the perfect blend of function and design. The paracord sling feels nice and the overall design is great. The Black Oak design is a simple style and looks unique without being glaringly absurd. However, it is on the small side and I feel like the description doesnt adequately explain how the dimensions work. As it is a sling, the width of the bag shrinks toward the top and toward the bottom, and is easily a few inches smaller than the width of the middle. Its tall enough to perhaps store an iPad and 17.5 is typically the width of large laptops, but I couldnt even fit half of a simple two-pocket folder. I gave it to my dad who moves around a lot and usually carries things with him to and from work, which is obviously what this bag was designed for. He loved the design and wanted something that was easy to throw on and off, and likes to mess around with paracord in some stuff he makes by hand. Not a wasted purchase, but disappointed by its small size and the misleading dimensions listed on the page.

I purchased this for a friends birthday and she was beyond excited. It was larger than I expected and offered great storage space. The colors are so vibrant. Amazing!

This is my second one. I love these specific bags. Color is true and vibrant.

Got for a trip to Disney adult only. Perfect size made so well. Can fit more then expected. Might buy another for a diaper bag.
