Kaytee Chewbular Play Tube Medium

My chinchilla plays in this tube but it is def not chewbular. She has zero interest in nibbling on it! I sometimes put fluff in the tube so she can have something to play with.

Our rabbits love it. They run through it, chew it, and sometimes lay through it. Have bought it many times because they chew it up.

My chinchillas got a big kick out of it!!

Tube might be ok, but please pay attention to other reviews also warning about the fluffy stuff inside. That can be dangerous and indeed, should not be legal. At least check online about warnings. I wonder about the safety of dyes or the cardboard but as far as I can find out as safe as anything similar, and likely better than other materials (like cardboard tubes with glue) one might give hamsters or gerbils. My gerbs certainly enjoy the tubes to sleep in, chew, run through. Without the fluff Id have done 4 stars at least. Its not necessary, but Ive found if I cut a little square opening in the middle of the tube surface, the gerbils like to crawl in and pop out through the opening.

Ive been searching for toys for my bun, trying my best not to waste money on products he wont like. Unfortunately, this was a waste. If you dont know what your buddy likes to chew on, it would be better to figure it out beforehand. I recently figured out he likes chewing on flat pieces of cardboard, not round ones. Had I known this, I wouldnt have purchased this tube. My bun somewhat liked the bedding material because he kneaded it around every now and then. However, he doesnt prefer bedding typically so he just slept around it. Eventually, he just pushed it into a corner where it collected dust and fur, not to mention some urine and feces. The same goes for the tube. He actually pushed it around when he was moving as if it got in his way. The best part of this tube was figuring out how big my bun is. I always considered him medium (hes about the size of a chihuahua thats a little bigger than small, but too small to be medium), but I guess if he cant fit in the tube, hes a large one. If your buddy is about 2x smaller than my bun that I just described, then hell fit. However, I think itd be better to purchase a tube/tunnel that will be long-lasting as opposed to just being cardboard with fuzz inside.

My mice liked this a lot the bedding is super soft, and the tube is great for them to play with. Highly recommended.

My Chinchilla loves his tube. Chews on it daily, but it still holds its shape and strength.

Tube good. The fluffy bedding inside? will kill your lovely small animal friend. this sort of product should be illegal and is not safe or okay in any way.

Our guinea pig died from the fluffy material inside this tube. My children are devastated. Please please please remove fluffy material. Guinea pigs will eat it. It is not meant to be eaten. Just so sad to know I could have prevented this :(
