The bedding was okay, but does not control the odor of two guinea pigs for a week as well as I hoped. Also, the pieces are so light and small that they kick the bedding everywhere. Ive tried other bedding types and this is close to the worst for mess on the floors. It may only be a little thing, but the pieces are also often uneven with occasional large splinters. This sometimes made spreading it in their cage a little annoying. Still, I got two and a half cage cleanings out of this one container.

Exactly what bedding is. Has a fresh smell. The bag will last me at least two months so thats always a good thing.

I was looking for a bedding for the chicken coop that wasnt dusty - this is smaller flakes and there is a considerable amount of fine dust that comes along with them. I wouldnt recommend for chickens

We were a bit disappointed with the size, we really thought for the price, that it would be a lot bigger than it was. It did do its job as described and all of that went well, so it is a good product but make sure you know your measurements before buying!

I ordered 2 bags of pine bedding. The first one I opened to use seemed moist, but I still went ahead and used it. I just opened the second bag to use it, but some of the pine bedding had turned black with mold and other places in the bag was growing white stuff. It must have been moist as well, but I didnt notice it when it arrived since I only opened one bag. I have never had this problem with pine bedding purchased in a store. I had to throw out the entire bag of pine bedding.
