Sam loves this! I took the grate out of his cage and have been using this on the bottom instead of paper. I can scoop it like cat litter and he likes to forage through for whatever seeds hes dropped throughout the day.

I use it as a tumbling media and it works great.

I have no idea why this is so hard to find these days! Ive been using walnut bird litter for over a decade, and love it. There is no dust, its odor free, easy to use/clean, and last well (I filter scoop weekly, and change out once a month). This is now the only brand I can find, and the 25lb is exactly the size I need to keep my 2 parrots happy in their spaces.

I bought this for a sewing project. They make lovely stuffing for pin cushions. It makes the cushion easy to stuff and is easy to see with.
