Who knows
03-04-2025I have always thought a comb is a comb is a comb so just buy the cheapest one. I didn’t realize how wrong I was until I bought this Kent comb. The quality of the comb is so far above a traditional cheap plastic comb. I have a very thick head of hair and normal combs just kind of rip and saw their way their way through my hair. The Kent comb is more polished and rounded and not sharp at all. It glides through my thick hair very smoothly. I will definitely be purchasing another Kent comb for my beard as well.

> 3 dayThese combs are durable, don’t scratch the scalp, and glide through tangles.

> 3 dayVery nice. My previous comb, by Speert, bought at a barber shop, lasted almost 30 years, and lately lost some teeth. I expect this will last 30 years too, until Im 99. Its a little longer too. I thought they molded the whole thing, but apparently they start with a piece of cellulose acetate (a non-petroleum based plastic which causes little static (although even rubber pocket combs never caused me static) and then they actually cut the teeth with some saw with 40+ blades, I think. And then they polish it to get the burrs off, I think, so nothing catches on the hair, especially when its tangled. There are also more expensive combs made of horn, but for a man, or anyone, I think I spent enough! For a brush, I use my mothers boar bristle brush. (I probably could have spent less, but Im a slob in most of my life.)

> 3 dayFirst, I purchased the 16T and was impressed by the quality of the comb. Unfortunately, it was too big for short hair. Then I purchased the 2T comb. Same quality comb, but now it was too small. Finally, I purchased the 6T. Same high quality as the other two and the size was just right for a guy with medium length hair.

> 3 dayI love the weight and feeling of the comb. I have always bought cheap dime store combs and never realized what a difference a good comb can make.

> 3 dayAs advertised - it was a comb and delivered promptly. I needed one for my beard and all the websites said this is the one used by the cool kids.

Greater than one weekI purchased this as a beard comb to replace a generic, falling apart, plastic comb. I feel that the quality of this comb is exceptional and I have no doubt upon initial inspection that it will last many, many years. Most importantly, its anti-static. I do think Id prefer that it had a little more heft and durability to it for carrying around. This feels quite light; which may be preferable to some. Regardless, Im likely to purchase additional Kent combs sometime in the future.

> 3 dayKent comb is incredibly quality comb I ever owned. I realized that theres a major difference in handmade and machine. When you comb your hair youll noticed it doesnt pull your hair (good for your scalp to prevent hair lost). Another thing is youll noticed the feel and weight compare to a cheaper comb. I use this on my beard and I can say it gives volume to my beard and my head hair. You rock KENT!!!!
