> 24 hourGreat comb! Honestly, I thought I was crazy for buying a comb at THIS price. All my life, Ive been using cheap combs that I buy from grocery stores. I was skeptical at first - How is this comb any different than the one that Im currently using? Wrong. It is so different. I cant describe how it is different, but my hair has never cooperated more than now. It produces the perfect comb-over no matter what gel or pomade I use. I like that it has two sides - coarse and fine - depending on the texture and look Im going for. Be careful when you decide on the size of the comb - this one is pretty big, but it gives you more grip. I had purchased a pocket sized one, and while it is equally nice in producing comb-overs, it can be difficult to hold the comb.

> 24 hourI have bought this exact Kent handmade comb twice for my brother. He asked me to find a comb that didnt scratch his scalp. Thought he was being overly picky at first; but then I tried out one of his cheap black plastic combs. I searched on Amazon using comfortable comb for men and found these Kent combs in various shapes and sizes. After he received it, my brother elected to sand it some with a diamond nail file that I passed on to him to use. Not sure the Kent comb needed the extra smoothing step. Then he used it until he lost it. I showed him my Mason Pearson celluloid styling comb that I have had for decades. It glides through my hair with no breakage and is hand polished. I asked my brother if he wanted to step up to the Mason Pearson comb: another imported brand that costs 3 times as much the Kent comb. The Kent comb is a high-value comb, well-made quality comb, sold at a reasonable price. The Mason Pearson combs, along with their brushes, are styling instruments you should buy if you want to spend a lot more; and plan to use them for a lifetime on hair that needs to lots of care and management.

> 24 hourThis is the first time I have ever bought a Kent comb, and they will be the only kind I ever buy again. Bough this for my beard as it is getting long and needs some more care. I have been using some cheap, but nice wood beard combs for a long time, but I kept hearing how great the Kent combs are, so I decided to get one for the home grooming. First time I ran this thing through my beard I was blown away by how smooth it ran through. The polished plastic slides through like warm butter! I always thought the wood combs I was using were nice and smooth, but this thing is insanely nice comparatively. Ill still rock my little wood comb in my pocket for now, but if I ever need to replace that, it will be with a Kent.

> 24 hourI have 3 of these combs- two long ones and a short one for my travel bag. I use hair gel every day so I use the combs to style on a daily basis. These combs are NOT flimsy and they dont scratch your scalp as cheap combs do. In fact, when the teeth rub across my scalp, their feeling is very nice like they are massaging my scalp. These combs feel as sturdy as metal but very lightweight, comfortable, and controllable. I have some arthritis in one hand but these combs are easy to handle and hold despite that.

> 24 hourGreat comb Ill have to order another though because my wife took it over and snapped it trying to comb out her post shower hair knots, still lasted 2 years though so Im happy with it considering its usage.

> 24 hourWhat could be done better? For this application, nothing. Id love to have a finer toothed version of the same comb with the same materials!

> 24 hourI spent a considerable amount of time searching through the stats of all the combs on Amazon. Wow, I had no idea that a simple comb could have so many choices. Both my spouse and I have used the same combs for years. Thats not saying that our old combs were anything special. We just thought that as long as it was in one piece - a comb, was a comb. Now that we each have a Kent 9T 7 1/2 192 mm Handmade Coarse and Fine Toothed Sawcut Comb from Amazon, our old combs have gone to the garbage. These new combs are sturdy, but not massive; they DO NOT, even remotely, scratch the tender head; judging from their durability, they will probably be around 5 or more years from now; they exude an attractive marbled appearance; even for the female hands these combs are easy to handle; yes, the combs are a bit spendy, but when the durability, design, attractiveness, and effectiveness are considered, they are truly a DEAL too good to pass up. And the conclusion to this story is that we are each going to order another one, or two, for travel bags, etc.

> 24 hourThis is by far the best comb I have. It reminds me of quality items from my childhood. This type of quality is rare these days. If you are the type of person who owns a $25 tweezer, you know what I mean. I am glad to see someone still takes pride in what they make. Buy one, try it. You will not be disappointed and will soon be buying them as gifts.
