> 3 dayI have bought this exact Kent handmade comb twice for my brother. He asked me to find a comb that didnt scratch his scalp. Thought he was being overly picky at first; but then I tried out one of his cheap black plastic combs. I searched on Amazon using comfortable comb for men and found these Kent combs in various shapes and sizes. After he received it, my brother elected to sand it some with a diamond nail file that I passed on to him to use. Not sure the Kent comb needed the extra smoothing step. Then he used it until he lost it. I showed him my Mason Pearson celluloid styling comb that I have had for decades. It glides through my hair with no breakage and is hand polished. I asked my brother if he wanted to step up to the Mason Pearson comb: another imported brand that costs 3 times as much the Kent comb. The Kent comb is a high-value comb, well-made quality comb, sold at a reasonable price. The Mason Pearson combs, along with their brushes, are styling instruments you should buy if you want to spend a lot more; and plan to use them for a lifetime on hair that needs to lots of care and management.

16-11-2024Great comb. I have seen these before when I was young, but not now. Molded plastic seems to be the norm. This comb is cut from a blank of high quality plastic and then polished smooth. Great for folks with long hair, which I dont have. It is more expensive, but if you take care of your stuff, this could last a lifetime.

> 3 dayGreat comb! Honestly, I thought I was crazy for buying a comb at THIS price. All my life, Ive been using cheap combs that I buy from grocery stores. I was skeptical at first - How is this comb any different than the one that Im currently using? Wrong. It is so different. I cant describe how it is different, but my hair has never cooperated more than now. It produces the perfect comb-over no matter what gel or pomade I use. I like that it has two sides - coarse and fine - depending on the texture and look Im going for. Be careful when you decide on the size of the comb - this one is pretty big, but it gives you more grip. I had purchased a pocket sized one, and while it is equally nice in producing comb-overs, it can be difficult to hold the comb.

> 3 dayYou can immediately tell this ISNT your typical mass produced junk! Comb is rigid, balanced, beautifully made, and weighted appropriately, as expected from a high end handmade grooming tool. This is undoubtedly my go to beard detangler. I had to buy a special beard brush, which worked great until my beard hit 3 inches in length. The bristles could no longer fully penetrate the long course hair. I needed heavy duty tines that could easily glide through my long facial fescue. This comb fit the bill masterfully, as there is so little friction created even though my beard is now twice as long. Ive purchased 3 so far, and make sure I have 1 at work, home, and in my vehicles. Perfection!!!!

> 3 dayMost of us have plenty of cheap comps that don’t really work well or last long,. The Kent comb is an exception. It is an affordable luxury .

> 3 dayGood & solid comb with heavy weight. Does not scratch scalp. Comb had a lot of hairline scratches on it which might be due to materials used. Either way, this comb will last a lifetime!

> 3 dayI need a comb for my beard that wasnt tiny. I also wanted something that wouldnt get snagged on my beard and constantly rip hair out. This is the comb for that job. You will almost always get a snag here and there with any comb but I get nearly none using this one compared to my others, one of which is wooden. Its hand cut and this is important because any comb that is not hand cut is stamped plastic. What this means is you get very fine plastic mold marks in the teeth and these will literally cut and tear your hair and ruin your beard or hair. Dont used stamped plastic combs. This thing is sturdy, looks cool and combs my beard and head with ease. Worth every penny.
