I have a Frigidaire portable air conditioner that needed a new hose. I bought this kit and the quality is way better than the original Frigidaire one! The plastic is very thick and sturdy, the hose itself is really heavy duty, not flimsy like the original. The panels finally fit my window properly, the original ones were too short and too wobbly/flimsy, plus they didnt fit the frame properly, it was awkward trying to put them in. The part where the hose attaches to the panels is so much better, the way the connector clicks into place. Solid and no gaps. The panels are easily adjusted with the included screws. The panels are more narrow than the old ones, and sturdier and fit better, all this is important because we were able to leave the ac in during recent high winds. Due to our location and size of the window we use a portable ac to be able to close the window when it gets really windy, the old one was horrible at keeping out the wind. This one is awesome!

Just what we needed to install an A/C we got second hand that was missing the tubing. Flexible, yet very sturdy tubing. So easy to install, took less than 5min! Very happy with our choice to go with this one.

Had to adapt to an older air conditioner - duct tape solution - works well

I used this for a unit in my bedroom and it attached easily and everything fit right in place. My son got one for his AC as well. The only downside I have is the hose is shorter than my old unit and I saw no options for a longer hose.

I had a bit of an issue with the connection from the tube to window. Its a little bulky and because of that I could not use on the window I wanted to put it in. I had to make room and put in on a standard window, but its doing exactly what I need it to do.

This is exactly what I needed and I am not totally illiterate when it comes to installing things but be warned!! This comes with VERY LIMITED instructions and u will not easily find it online. It is different from my original set up when I bought my Portable Air Conditioner. Also glad I kept my square adaptor as the round one does not fit my LG one. Not impossible to install but make sure u have some knowledge of these before buying.

Hard to clean. I put it in a ziplock bag to use. A bit cheaply made. However, I think it’s great for starters.
