> 3 dayoverall this is a pretty good universal kit I was amazed that they gave me enough tape a lot of other companies give you a slither of tape. does fits nicely on my LG portable air conditioner with a square plastic adapter that goes in the back of the unit. (oe part) The only con is that its heavy and theres no anchors to properly anchor it down before falling over so youll need to duct tape or gorilla tape it on the edges to the window frame. I had to cut the extended piece to fit my vertical frame easy to do with a saw . I used the remaining sealant tape to seal around the tube part so when it sits against the plastic its flush and then I reinforced with more gorilla tape because it gets hot everything is looking good

> 3 dayThis thing is flimsy and a lot smaller than the kits that come with the portable ac units. The exhaust hose doesnt fit right and comes loose constantly when in use. I had to tape both ends to make it secure so it wouldnt fall out when air was blowing through it. The directions show that its supposed to be screwed into both adapters yet the hose isnt snug and slides out leaving the exhaust to vent back into the room. I wouldve returned this but I needed something right away as the temps get ridiculous here in Phoenix. The seals that come with the kit are flimsy and very thin and didnt work. They were useless and I resorted to using copious amounts of cardboard and duct tape to make everything work. The panels are very narrow and the adapter for the exhaust hose is at an angle that makes it almost impossible to connect anything without having something to support the hose from underneath. In the end I used enough tape to hermetically seal the room I was in. My victory was bittersweet as my girlfriend wanted the unit facing ever so slightly at an angle for aesthetical reasons. Little did she know that the slightest deviation of the unit and anything connected to it would result in total collapse of the system and complete demoralization of its master. The second time was a lot quicker than the first and the third time...well not go into the details of how that went. Time passed and eventually everything was taken down and removed. Not a trace remained of what took place in that room. It looked like the very first day I laid eyes upon it. All the time, money, MacGyvering, has been forever memorialized in the form of a cardboard box with no identifying markers. It sits in the back corner of my garage and lays inconspicuously amongst other items that were revered only to lose favor when functionality failed them. It will sit there for eternity, confined to its cardboard prison. No good time. No parole board. No pardon. No release. There is one small, tiny speck of hope as there might come a time when I give it to some unsuspecting passerby that doesnt have enough anger and frustration in their lives. I highly recommend if you need help pronouncing swear words in rapid succession or feel like spending a small fortune on duct tape.
