I just started to solder, my first try was with some no name solder from China, 60/40 rosin core but it was .8 and didn’t work well for me at all. So i researched a little and bought kester brand at .4 and also bought flux. The next try my soldering connections came out beautifull!!!

Used this solder on structural steel plates and electronics. Its turned out great in both applications. The flux core is aggressive, and greatly assists in working with corroded metal. It melts very easily, and readily alloys with higher temperature solder so you can help you hot air station do the job if you bought something from Europe. Highly recommended.
