Absolutely the best solder you can get anywhere. I never use anything else.

This solder is quality with a capital Q. Nothing compares to Kester solder, nothing. I tryed to save some money with a cheaper brand and i have hade nothing but trouble. Went back to my old friend.

Not much to report here - I have used Kester 44 solder for 60 years. Number 44 is an old formula that contains lead, so if you are doing work that requires lead-free, choose a different product. The rosin flux cleans easily with solvent. If you need no-clean, choose a different product. Number 44 remains my favorite because it is easy to work with, makes reliable joints and is easy to clean.
