I use the Kingston for music in my car and I have a lot of songs on it. I got more than one for various reasons e.g., photos, documents, backups. Trying to be prepared in an emergency - just grab and run. The cost was reasonable, too.

I Like And Use Name brand Flash Drives. And this one seams to do the job just fine.

These guys are bulky USB drives. Additionally, when right-clicking on them, they tend to freeze up my Windows explorer. I guess its ok for the price but if possible, avoid these ones.

Excellent thumb drive. I bought several and they all came as described and work great.

This USB drive receives the lowest star I can give it for its inability to act like a USB 3.0 drive. The performance I have experienced with this drive is on par with the high end of USB 2.0 drives. I should have done my research before purchasing because it seems that many folks have had the same problem with this drive. I should be clear. I tested the performance of this drive using a laptop with USB 3.0 controller that had the most up to date drivers and used CrystalDiskMark 3.0.3 for the test. My performance numbers are as follows. All 5 1000MB I:62% (19/30GB) Read [MB/s] Write [MB/s] Seq 97.57 41.27 512K 89.2 4.986 4K 5.938 .044 4KQD32 6.616 .052 Compared to most other USB 3.0 drives and what the specs of the standard are supposed to support, these are awful numbers. I didnt get a random junk drive either as I have read much from other testers on the horrible performance of this drive. I do not recommend this drive to anyone. For this kind of performance save your money and get a USB 2.0 drive. For USB 3.0 performance go with a more expensive alternative.

The British sellers are always very trustful as Kingston itself is. A good price at a good quality is. The item has longevity, good quality meaning fast transfer and good preservation of the information, and is very resistant. It can be used without problems very much times.

Eh, this was one of the cheapest drives I could find that seemed to have somewhat of a good speed at the time. Noted it certainly isnt amazing and leaves much to be desired but I guess it works for what I needed it for.

Slow IS a factor. Relability is all that. 2.3 years into the 5 year warranty zero is what I got. The computer rarely recognizes. When it does it disconnects mid transfer. No devices recognize what files are already on there. I now have 2 of these POS in my collection. Both unfixably write protected Warranty service is head bashing. Unholy hold times, customer is required to report unreadable numbers on drive, RMA emails that NEVER arrive. All for the privilege of sending them back on your own dime and waiting for replacements. I wouldnt send them my data anyway. It cannot be erased. Im done with Kingston. Ill add them to my list of failed manufacturers to avoid. They are totally irresonsible.
