The size for the price was very good. My laptop is not performing very well.

This is currently the cheapest name brand 120gb ssd drive you can buy. I was on a tight budget so I decided to buy this instead of others that cost a bit more to save some money. I am very impressed with the speeds considering its the cheapest ssd you can buy. I did run into some issues right off the bat. I was getting slow speeds, nearly as slow as my standard hard drive. After some research I found out that my sata controller was set to ide. After changing to achi I am now getting close to the advertised speeds. Boots windows 10 in 9 seconds.

much faster than regular HDD

YouTube showed me how to open the laptop and gain access to the original SATA drive. Once inside, installing the SSD drive is exceedingly easy. Then you just close up the laptop and install Windows. HP allows you to create a recovery USB drive before you change hard drives. Simply boot off the USB drive and go from there. Once Windows was reinstalled, and the laptop was up and running.... It was easy to tell it is SO much faster!!! Kingston is a brand name, and the price, drive size, and performance together are a huge value... Very impressed!

No issues install was a breeze, only have a couple of applications installed.

perfect for my laptop

I wanted to use this device as a backup for files on my USBs. It would constantly corrupt and be hard to open the files. I would right click and copy a file from a USB onto this device folder and it would corrupt or when I reopened it, my computer couldn’t open/ find the file.
