> 3 dayI got this as a cheap and reliable option for my grandparents PC. Way faster then their old hard drive and a great storage capacity for two people that only use the computer to scroll on Facebook and emails and on occasion play a downloaded game or two.

> 3 dayMy old pre-built HP Pavilion desktop was sitting around collecting dust, so I decided to replace the extremely slow six year old mechanical HDD with this Kingston and use it as an HTPC for Prime video, YouTube, ect. Ive built a few gaming rigs and never had any problems, but for some reason I thought the process would be a pain since pre-builts can be picky about what hardware gets connected to them. Luckily for me, that wasnt the case. I loaded the Windows installer on a flash drive and had everything up and running in less than half an hour, and the difference in boot times between the HDD and SSD is night and day. This Kingston definitely isnt as fast as the 860 EVO m.2 in my gaming rig, but I wasnt expecting it to be and the average person probably wouldnt notice anyway.

> 3 dayI was on a budget when I got this. It is extremely quick. 5s boot time. Which I could have gotten a bigger one.

> 3 dayAt first I was skeptical to buy this drive. There were plenty of bad reviews saying that the drive failed or arrived dead, but I if ignored those and decided to buy the drive. I planned to upgrade my gaming PC from a hard drive to this SSD, and use the hard drive for game storage since I bought a 240gb SSD. I thought I could clone my data from my 1tb hard drive, but ended up doing a clean install of windows because you had to pay for the cloning software that actually worked. Dont bother trying to clone unless you really have to, for me it was a waste of time. The drive did significantly improve the speed of my rig, mainly in loading things and the overall boot time. I would highly suggest that you buy this SSD, and ignore the bad reviews. It can significantly speed up any system using a regular HDD.

> 3 dayThese have been the lowest price reputable drive for a while now. 240gb is a good size for the money in our desktops where we utilize network storage for our documents. We basically only need to cover the OS, updates, and a handful of applications.

> 3 dayIve had it for a year now and it its still going. My only complaint is that it chokes up at times. Sometimes when Im copying files to it and playing music, the music gets stuck. Theres also an occasional delay when reading/writing sometimes. This hasnt with other SSD drives Ive had. Other than that, it works fine.
