> 3 dayI just keep buying these at both home and work to breathe a bit of new life into our old laptops. These arent the fastest SSDs but its still like night and day versus the mechanical hard drives in the 5-8 year old machines we have. While I expect longevity to be great, and have had no failures in a year, I do back stuff up in case one dies.

> 3 dayThis drive feels well build. In a metal housing. Size is perfect as a boot drive. I have a spinning rust drive for the rest of my storage. Good read/write speeds. Recommend getting this.

> 3 dayWhen another brand of SSD failed a few weeks ago, I purchased this as its replacement. Restoring from an image backup via a USB-attached drive only took 4 minutes! In my experience, Kingston SSDs have proven very reliable. I still have some older Kingston HyperX drives from about 2012 that are working today. The other brand that failed me was newer than that... Although I question their logo - a bearded guy with his skull missing - the drive is great!

> 3 dayOkay- so this SSD does NOT work in old laptops. I got it for my old laptop and it does not show up in the BIOS, but if I plug it in with USB it shows, or if I plug it into the desktop it shows. It just really doesnt like the BIOS of my laptop, making it impossible to use as a boot drive.

> 3 dayI think I bought this for my second gaming PC. Yes, thats what happened. It was when I first discovered about SSDs. Wanted to buy something cheap for a test. Man was it an experience.

> 3 dayMy 10 year old 17 LED laptop is still running pretty good, but starting to have moments where loading some office programs and other functions were slowing down, at times quite a bit on the original SATA IDE drive..... Cloned the drive, installed this Kingston SSD and boom....Windows 10 starts up in seconds, and every other programs starts/loads almost instantaneously....just breathed new life into my good old Laptop
