Works as expected

I bought this to make a redneck dipole shortwave antenna and it works great. I took it to the top of the building and then split it, taking one wire one way and the other wire another way and joining them together with an alligator clip. Clipped it to the radio and I was listening to Taiwan from Ohio. Radio Romania and just tons of radio from around the world. An alligator clip and 100 foot of speaker wire built a better antenna than what I bought. Just because its called speaker wire doesnt mean its just speaker wire. Its heavy and makes a great antenna.

Most wire I’ve purchased before had a marking on outer jacket to indicate one from the other. Didn’t see that on this wire.

Hard to tell the difference between brands, performs the same as the wire I paid many times the price for.

Worked well

Best price for this size wire and it is 16ga. A lot of wire today is not what it says it is.

Finished my project with this wire. No issues, works just fine.

Exactly as needed

The wire was easy to pull off the spool, and the red stripe made it easy to keep track of polarity. It almost seems the wire is larger than 16 gauge. I had to use a 14 gauge wire stripper to avoid cutting wire strands.
