After a HAVE TO CALL THE PLUMBER DAMMIT event, I bought these. Now it seems the kitchen sink is the focal point of my house, with dogs, an aquarium and plant hobby, craft hobbies, and lots of handwashing and everything else that goes on in a kitchen-cooking, plate rinsing, the occasional tiny puppy wash, you name it. When I got these I had my doubts. But OMG so far so good, no signs of rust, and even if they did, cheap enough to replace with a long service time. THEY CATCH EVERYTHING,(And if you have an aquarium hobby like mine these are a MUST HAVE when dealing with gravel and aquatic plants) Annd I hate to think now about all those every whatever THAT was, that was going through your regular sink Kitchen sink strainer with the HUGE holes that most of us have had in our homes for the last 50 some years. Once you get these you get how much YUCK you were feeding your pipes! They fit super flush in the drain hole and I mean it when I say NOTHING is going down the drain and nothing will get hung up on the little handle, it fits flush too. I thought they would be gross to clean, but a couple of wacks in the trash and a good wipe n rinse and they look good as brand new. I wish I could get these for bathroom and shower drains too! Dont hesitate to buy unless you like paying those $200.00 plumber bills!

They catch all of the food, and the top is low so food doesnt get stuck in them. I thought we accidentally left them at our last house so I bought more. I just opened a box two months later to find them, oops.

Love these, they are hard to clean but easy to dump out, they catch EVERYTHING. Definitely recommend

Great item - nice and sturdy. Because the holes are so small it really catches all the loose debris from dirty pots, pans, and dishes You do have to bang it a bit on top of a paper towel or directly into your garbage pail to get the food out of it but it definitely gets the job done!

It fits perfectly into the sink drain and catches everything. It has a handle, so it’s very easy to lift out. I’m very happy with the quality and that it’s keeping my sink drain clean.

I purchased this kitchen sink strainer for my new kitchen sink. Previously, we have clogged the kitchen sink because we did not have a strainer to catch leftover food or others. This kitchen sink is made with nice high-quality stainless steel. It fits my sink perfectly. Now, I do not have to worry that my sink got clogged again. I have young kids at home. I am constantly making dishes and cleaning. With this sink strainer, I can have a peace of mind that my sink will not be clogged. The strainer is also very easy to remove and clean by dumping the waste to the trash can.

This is probably the best sink drain insert Ive owned. Its very sturdy, no sharp edges, and sits flush against the drain opening (no gaps). Very easy to clean. Ive had the wire mesh net strainers in the past which are harder to clean, and they inevitably get bent, so food slips underneath. I dont know why Id need a handle to pull this out, but so far it hasnt gotten in the way, and I did see another comment about simply popping the handle out.

We had an older drain thing that was more like flimsy bendable mesh and over time smaller particles would accumulate in the mesh that was impossible to clean without using a brush (which defeats the whole purpose). It got to a point where the mesh was breaking loose and stabbing us in the finger every time we tried to take it out to dump the contents. I kind of expect this to be made of the same material, and was pleasantly surprised this is hard metal, super sturdy, and even comes with a little holder thing so you dont have to dig your fingers into the plate around the mesh cup to pull it out from the drain and touch all that grossness. The measurements are exactly as shown and worked for our sink perfectly. Im so impressed with the quality! Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend.

They are easy to maintain and a lot nicer to look at as opposed to those larger modern strainers with rubber parts. If you have a stainless steel sink this is the kind you want
