Our new modular home did not come equipped with a disposal (who knew?), so I have been trying very hard to keep food particles from slipping down the drain and into the septic, where it can cause problems. When I saw this product it looked like it would much more effective than the drain plug basket, which allowed too much to slip past. And it certainly is! With its Many fine holes, the water drains right through leaving a surprising amount of food debris behind, more than I imagined possible. I’m thrilled with this simple, inexpensive and effective way to keep our pipes and septic system free of food debris and the problems that come with it.

so easy to clean. WAY BETTER than the stupid cheap WIRE kind. I love the little handle. I thought it was unnecessary but it makes it much easier to use.

These sink strainers are very durable and I love the easiness to remove them with the practical handle. Plus they look great!!!

I think these will be helpful in keeping the kitchen sewer line clear - we recently replaced the line. They are easy to use and we are amazed at the amount of food debris it catches that would normally go down the drain. We thought that the garbage disposal would take care of food debris but apparently it can settle in the line if the line is not properly angled.

This is a great replacement strainer because the lip is very small and flat so unlike other strainers that sit higher preventing debris from flowing into the strainer this one works great. Also being metal its easy to clean and can even take a turn in the dishwasher to get freshened up. Highly recommended!

I have a garbage disposal in my sink, but sometimes a fork or spoon will fall through the opening. With this strainer that problem is eliminated. It collects all the larger pieces of food and keeps them from a potential plug. I put on strainer in each drain in the sink and feel pretty good about keeping clogs from happening. Wis I had bought these earlier, also fit perfectly.

The last drain screens I had were very hard to get out of the drain these are perfect.

Just what I was looking for. Had them a few months now and since my sinks get heavily used these see multi daily use. They fit well and holding up nicely.

I love there drains! They are easy to clean and very sturdy, I love the handles to remove them from the sink! I have bought several cheap sink drains only to find the edges were sharp or they would discolor quickly. I have had these 6 months and they look new they are easy to clean and they still look brand new! Great product- would buy again!

I tried the combo strainer and stopper sink drain covers, but these have by far been the best strainers. When we want to stop water in the sink, we just use the standard stoppers (purchased separately).
